In May 2025, a water shortage at Kalule Bwaise Children Shelter revealed how far children, women and families in Buwambo were travelling to find water.

From a challenge to a shared solution

With the support of Jonas and Tristan, Front Aid Foundation Uganda raised funds through Tools for Life Foundation to construct an underground well in Buwambo.

The new well brings water closer to the community. Children and women no longer need to travel long distances in search of water, creating more time for learning, care and daily life.
