Since first visiting Uganda in 2022, Jonas and Tristan have shown enduring care for children in the Bwaise community.
A lasting commitment to children in Bwaise
In 2022, Jonas and Tristan visited Uganda and spent time in the Bwaise slums, where they met orphaned children and learned more about the challenges they face. Their visit became the beginning of a meaningful, long-term connection with the community.
After returning to Germany, they raised funds that helped construct the Kalule Bwaise Children’s Shelter in Buwambo — a safe, dignified place where children can grow, learn, and thrive. They have continued fundraising to support school fees and other essential needs for the children.
We are deeply grateful for Jonas and Tristan’s generosity, commitment, and the care they continue to show. Kudos and big hugs to them for the difference their work is making in children’s lives.
